Christopher Hale, Esq.

Founding Partner

Born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Williamsburg, Virginia, Chris brings a diverse background of military service, leadership, and courtroom advocacy to his legal practice.

Chris earned his undergraduate degree from Presbyterian College in 2010. Following graduation, he served nearly a decade in the United States Army, including as a non-commissioned officer in the prestigious 75th Ranger Regiment. His military career was marked by dedication, discipline, and leadership before it was unexpectedly cut short due to injury.

Following his military service, Chris pursued his legal education at the University of Richmond School of Law, graduating in 2023. During law school, he served as President of the Veterans and Military Law Association and was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board, where he honed his advocacy and courtroom skills.

After being admitted to the Virginia State Bar, Chris began his legal career as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Stafford County, Virginia. He later served as the Ceasefire Prosecutor for Petersburg, Virginia, where he focused on prosecuting violent crime and promoting community safety.

After spending most of his adult life serving and helping others in a variety of roles as a soldier, prosecutor, and public servant, Chris made the decision to establish Hale Law and dedicate his practice to serving clients throughout Virginia. As the firm’s owner, he represents individuals facing criminal and traffic charges and advocates for clients involved in civil litigation matters. Drawing on his experience both prosecuting and defending cases, Chris provides strategic counsel, strong courtroom advocacy, and personalized representation tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Outside of the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and his dog. Whether on the water, attending sporting events with friends and family, or cheering on his beloved Baltimore Orioles, he values the relationships and experiences that keep him connected to his community.
